Door Sash

 

The overall thickness of the door is 48mm..   The average u-value of a door is approximately  014 w/mk2

 

The sash consists of a solid core flame-break blank which is compliant with iso 9001 & iso 2000.

 

The blank is a strong and dimensionally precise product, which does not warp or twist.

 

2 vacuum formed woodgrain effect door skins are bonded to the blank.

 

Coloured door skins are manufactured from 1.7mm “compax” a modified polycarbonate sheet specifically designed for the composite door industry.  Compax has an excellent thermal stability from -20 to +80.  White door skins are manufactured from “paldoor”, an extruded rigid pvc sheet.

 

The edges of the door slab  are fully sealed and edge banded with 1.5mm abs edging strip.

 

Door Frame

 

A Rehau 72mm pvcu frame fully reinforced with steel.  15mm, 30mm and 45mm add-on where required.  95mm and 150mm sill options are available.

 

Hinges

 

A set of 3 security butt hinges, which are available in white, gold & chrome.   Tested to secure by design.

 

Locking System

 

Multi-bolt, 53mm bolt x2 and 51mm latch and centre dead bolt. With stainless steel hook nose ends.   Tested to secure by design.

 

Laterally adjustable 3 piece keep set, with stainless steel cover plate.  A brass/nickel, anti-drill, anti-bump and anti-snap euro cylinder lock

 

Glazing

 

An “auto-plas” abs cassette system glazed with a 28mm toughened sealed double glazed unit.
