Project Description

Client:   Leopold House
Location:   Rochdale
Year Completed: 2016

This was a unique project where we were tasked with designing, manufacturing and installing extremely high security entrance door for a women refuge.

The door had to accommodate for both staff and the people staying there so that staff could come and go freely but also be secure to stop any unwanted visitors due to the sensitive nature of the building.

The Challenges

Our challenge on this project was to create a door that looked good, stay secure and to able to allow the staff in and out without disruption.

Problems Solved

We solved this problem by installing a high security steel door and coated with enamel that doesn’t chip or scratch. The staff were able to entry with an electronic key tag and unauthorised people had to use an intercom to speak with reception.
